Workly supports structured hiring, milestone escrow, and audit trails for teams hiring freelancers at scale. Multi-seat workspaces, shared pipelines, and SSO are on our roadmap — contact us to join the enterprise early-access program.

Security

Payments are held in escrow until milestone approval. Row-level security isolates tenant data, admin actions are audited, and production deployments use hardened headers and webhook verification.

Compliance

Workly provides privacy controls, content moderation, and dispute resolution workflows. Enterprise customers can request a data processing overview and security questionnaire during sales review.

Getting started

How do I create an account?

Choose client or freelancer on the registration page, verify your email, and complete your profile in Settings.

Can I be both a client and freelancer?

Accounts have one primary role at signup. Use separate accounts if you need both experiences.

Jobs & proposals

How does hiring work?

Clients post a job, review proposals, accept one freelancer, and a contract is created automatically.

Can freelancers save jobs?

Yes. Use Save on any open job or visit Saved Jobs in your freelancer dashboard.

Payments & escrow

When is money released?

Funds are held in escrow after checkout. Clients approve milestones or release payment when work is complete.

How do freelancers get paid?

Add a payout method in Settings (bank transfer or mobile money). Withdrawals are sent after escrow is released to your wallet.

Disputes & support

What if work is not delivered?

Open a dispute from the contract page while the contract is active. Both parties can add notes until resolution.

Who moderates the platform?

Workly owners review flagged content, disputes, and payment issues through the owner console.
